I’m Gordon Whitehead, CEO and Founder of Captus5 and CaptusR. I have degrees from Oregon State and a Doctorate in Leadership from George Fox University. I was a Captain in the Marines, served in Desert Storm, and a leader at Nike. I coached Varsity Football and Basketball. I’ve seen some interesting leadership situations. The biggest problem leaders face is they fail to understand what is really going on inside the organization. Some leaders are aware that something isn’t quite right. Some leaders are oblivious and keep trying the same tired techniques. I have put together the content that helps leaders connect with authenticity and to develop their teams. What’s the difference? There are no gimmicks, no methodologies, no tricks of the trade. At the Captus companies we simply feel that leadership and working with people is about being real and learning how to read the situation. Leading effectively in our modern age is about learning, observing, and connecting.

 

 

We know people are busy and cannot always get out to a seminar or training. Here’s what we do that’s different:

  • We come to you in the format of a Lunch’n Learn.

  • Sessions run from 60-90 minutes. We like to work with groups in size ranging from 10-20. We provide the lunch.

  • We work with your leaders to adjust the content to fit their needs.

  • We charge one flat affordable fee.
